i'm home, back in richmond with the family. i'm surrounded by all the things that are supposed to be normal in my life and… they are! my first couple days in dc were fun but creepy. i got to see a bunch of the fellas. those that i didn't see i have talked to or will talk to on xbox live, so i'm happy.

i'm glad i'm at home, having the majority of each day to myself to try and get my head straight. i went abroad in the first place to get my head straight, which worked, but now that i'm back i'm all disoriented again. i can't say when i'll feel like i've locked into a groove again here, maybe a week, maybe a year. hopefully not more than a year.

the thing that has made me happiest today is finding my old remix of natalie imbruglia's smoke track from sophomore year. i had heard ganja kru's remix one night in dc when hype was spinning and decided i could do it better — and i did. no need to be modest when it comes to jungle.
