things to say. picking up halo2 at midnight at chesterfield towne center was hilarious. there was a mom with two kids behind me. the boy, twelve, was getting the game. the fifteen year old sister was really confused and kept asking questions about why they were there and various halo related questions, as well as things like 'oh my god, look at those people over there'. she wasn't ready for all the video game nerds i'd say. and to be honest, video game nerds can get pretty bad unless they're balanced out by other fields of nerdness. a pure video game nerd class is dangelous though, you gotta multi-class that stuff.

in other news, i've played a day or two of the world of warcraft open beta. it's really, really fun. although thinking about having to pay for it makes the fun factor in my head plummet. no comment on whether i will play it past the beta.

and lastly, i'm still nowhere near adjusted. i was thinking about this as i was cutting out jewel case covers for the cd swap i'm going to. eighteen cd's, it was a lot of cutting. i need to make something big happen to eclipse morocco, and when i say something big i mean move back out on my own again. i think i might send some copies of the cd mix i made to the boys back in rabat, they'd get a kick out of it. in my retrospective, i was also thinking on the massive lambast i'm planning on writing against a lot of the americans i met living in morocco, man were they terrible people.
