the visit was nice. i spent a decent amount of time with my girlfriend, whereas pags and tripp kinda brushed theirs off. they were good sports about giving me time though. and gabriel's gift certificate was awesome.
the pace of the weekend was strange. a lot of overexertion followed by massive sittings. tripp seemed to run himself into the ground too fast, which was too bad. for his defense, he said he hadn't partied as hard in a while, so i guess he'd lost his rhythm. i guess the east coast is just harder, and he's gotten soft in his left coast time. like his pal finchey.
seeing all the random people was nice, and a combination of goose, sam, and beky have helped me get my sights on moving up. thanks for that.
when i was going around spain and ireland in my final farewell, i was trying to lay out my plans for the following months. i realized that visiting people, as well as holidays, would keep me at home through xmas. i figured it would be good. it's been alright. at this point my need to move out on my own again pushes all other issues and memories out of mind.
my moroccan friend has bailed on the xmas visit plans. i'm looking forward to going to georgia, and new year's will hopefully be fun as well.
peace
