so i'm updating from a job. i got a call back real quick on the temping and am working at this place called cravath, apparently one of the best corporate firms ever. i like the free coffee.

the other temp to get assigned with me has been doing it for 6 months and helped with showing me the ropes yesterday. seems like it's gonna be a decent setup more or less, though i might cease to have much of a life for large pieces of time, since the hours look like they're going to be allthetime.

it's a good situation though, because i'll get paid right around the time i'm gonna have to leave my current apartment. so i should be able to move into my own place about that time without having to crash at any more peoples' places. the funny thing about all this was that i thought my plan was pretty sound, whereas getting here and talking to everyone else, i've learned that i'm crazy. i thought the way i moved up was how a lot of people do it, but apparently not. oh well. and on a side note, konkrete jungle monday night was much better than direct drive. i don't know if chrispy posted about it since i haven't looked at his post yet, but it was lame. they double booked some mediocre hip hop girl and her boring dj, so the bass didn't start until 2am, at which point all the people who had come for direct drive had left.
