i love tripp's posts about his dealings with companies. he always gets angry, and immediately - the first thing that can be taken in the wrong way, he's already anticipated it and gotten upset. it's hilarious cuz he assumes that massive organizations of normal people, the majority of whom within the system don't even really care about their role in the machine, will, as a rule, operate efficiently and seamlessly. when people, on a one on one level, are anything but. throw 'em together and look out.

and tripp, on this particular verizon rant, i love that you think working hours and geographical location have nothing to do with the situation. in the end, no matter how big the company, you're still dealing with people, and when people have to deal with other people they immediately give themselves the advantage - so while you're getting annoyed by customer service et al., each person you're dealing with is getting annoyed by you. hahahaha.

regardless, i'm verizon too. welcome to the free in-networkness.
