so where to do. it’s been almost the entire month. it’s been a good month; i think i post more when i’m annoyed.

long story short, the first half of the month was spent changing to my new team at work. they’re great people, couldn’t be happier. this job is once again the way i imagined it – adults getting things done in a timely and professional fashion and getting paid for doing so.

the second half of the month was a lil more work followed by a week down in charleston, sc. i hadn’t been down to the annual family beach week in over two years, so it was a much anticipated event. sitting out on the porch after lunch every day with a book, in a rocking chair with a cold drink, waiting to digest before heading back over the dunes onto the beach. a nap, perhaps. a nap, most definitely. naps are a sign of those that are comfortable, relatively speaking. night times spent in same rocking chair on same great porch, cold drink in hand, watching the moonlight play over the ocean, the dunes only a few strides from the house. it was great.

i now have my tables up in the city thanks to chrispy who happened to be down in va beach the weekend i got back from the beach. i also have my xbox up here, as well as my violin. i feel great just knowing this. and my baseball glove and chess set as well. the things that i love to spend my time doing, and which have thusly defined a good deal of who i am, are all finally back together with me. music, video games, music, sports, and nerd sports. the new rollerblades that i got before the beach rule as well.
