anyone know any spots in nyc for getting cheap/used drum equipment? for example pawn shops that specialize in musical equipment? i'm trying to get myself a basic kick/snare/hi-hat set up for the room, to facilitate practice as well as recording purposes. i do NOT want a full set. if worse comes to worst i'm just gonna get a kick pedal and hi-hat stand, and use paint buckets/lids for the rest.
