just finished watchin flight of the phoenix, it was ok. i’m glad i saw it. if nothing else, it’s another notch in the belt. i’ve realized over the past week or so that the machinist set a high mark in my movie habits that might not get surpassed for a while. so in my acknoledgment of that fact, i’m about to kick back and enjoy some pure entertainment – roll bounce. i know it’s gonna make me wanna skate so bad and that’s part of the fun; i’m subjecting myself to monkey torture. speaking of which, i was at a bar this past week, a lil divey type place, and spotted joe lo truglio chillin with a bunch of people in the back booth. three booths from me. so strange/surreal. i’ve had a few celeb spottings in the city but never been in one place right next to them when they didn’t even realize they were being recognized. awesome.
the train ride was packed, and full of stories as usual. i love taking trains. and after the past few days of walking my ass off due to the transit strike it’s nice to be outta the city and back at home, even if the strike ended just in time for me to catch a ride to penn station. word.
i feel like i’m going merlin recently, living my life backwards in time. i think roll bounce is perfect for that theme.
peace
