Preregistration time is here again and, remarkably, I managed to turn in my registration card on the first day. The class list, as it stands:
Social Change in Latin America (Sociology)
Readings from Queer America (English)
Senior Seminar in Gender and Sexuality Studies (Gender Studies)
Michel Foucault and Comparative Thinking (Comparative Literature, with Rey Chow)
Gender and Sexuality in Latin America (History)
As well as one writing workship (to be determined) and a potential audit of a course in television studies. This, of course, will all change come add/drop time, but for now, it looks terribly enticing.
Fun times link of the week: Now you, too, can enjoy the finest original programming the Ivy League has to offer, as Brown’s own Elected is available for download. It mockuments the inner-workings of a coughunnamedcough New England college’s student government and takes its comic cues from The Office and the like. Anyhow, have at it.
