Ladies and gentlemen, the Dems have taken the Senate.
And, as Matthew mentioned, Rumsfeld stepped down. And, as no one has mentioned, Britney filed for divorce from K-Fed (and he found out via text message, which I’ve decided was just a text message from Britney that simply read ‘l8r’). In other words, all’s right with the world.

We thought about thinking about the election day as ‘the day the world was sane’, which is a little broad perhaps…Dems taking the senate? What a perfect early birthday present.

and i saw the k-fed video, chrispy passed it to me. i was too excited about the senate to get super excited about britbrit.
the conversation between him and i went something like this:

chrispy: ON TV
chrispy: RIGHT AFTER HE CALLED HER HIS BIGGEST FAN
chrispy: WHAT A FUCKING DOUCHE!!!!!
trippy: her or him?
chrispy: him but take your pick really
i wanted to really see him cry. that’s what he gets for stealing my future girlfriend and ruining her. but i figure i probably have a chance now.

Thanks to both of you! & yes, the election returns were fantabulous birthday presents, and I absolutely took them as such. The same goes for Brit & Fed-ex. Best birthday ever? Maybe so. Maybe so.
