i've finally started to relax a little. i've been sleeping well, and i have been pretty much lying in bed until about ten whether i'm tired or not. i've also been making bacon and eggs for breakfast, which is unusual, because i rarely eat breakfast. so, the past couple of days have been leisurely, which is quite nice.

roscoe called me a couple of hours ago. apparently he didn't know that he was scheduled to give a lecture at michigan state tonight at seven. he's blowing it off, because he is on the road back here, and has a bunch of other things that have priority over this. good news is we will probably get hammered tonight. how very nice it will be.

i need to call either carter or kelly tonight. i've been promising myself that i would, and i haven't called either. one of them we recieve a call tonight, by gum.

i saw mulholland drive last night. it was good. not great. i'm not a huge david lynch fan, but it was interesting. i like his prints much more (surprise). first hour and a half or so, pretty linear, not at all lynchian. last half hour or so, very much lynchian. it was a quality flick, and i'm glad i saw it. billy ray cyrus made the movie.
