last night erik, rachel, lenore and i went to see a madison mallards game. oh my what an experience. first off, i'm unclear as to how "professional" they are. apparently the team is made up of college players, and ex-college players. they play for free, and live with a host family for the summer. so, they aren't "good" per se, but they play their hearts out. plus it was just fun. in order to maintain interest they have all kinds of wacky games and such going on in between innings. plus they have there own songs. the mallards theme song, plus a song set to "welcome to the jungle" renamed "welcome to the duck pond". all very good. erik got the tickets for free, which made it even better. good times.

i want to post my autograph from chuck palahniuk, but i can't figure it out. i'll have tripp place it here. word.
