chicago was fun. seeing martin was good. it's just too bad that he is stuck in suburban hell. neither chris ware nor daniel clowes spoke on saturday. they were just there to sign shit. kim deitch spoke. he was good, but not as good as it would've been to see daniel clowes or chris ware speak. i did get them to sign stuff, and i took a polaroid of them signing my stuff. they both look eerily like their drawings. especially clowes, in a very creepy sort of way. kim deitch showed a porno cartoon from the 1920's that there are almost no prints of. very strange, but funny.

also, did anyone recieve disturbing e-mails from christopher bruce? i did today. part of me is skeptical that it is cris bruce, because he spells his name without the "h". but the absolute nonsensical ravings were could very well definitely be him. needless to say i was bothered. especially since the second seemed threatening. both made little sense, if any. i replied with a simple "what the fuck?!" and said not to send me any more e-mails. who knows what'll happen… how the fuck did he get my e-mail address anyway? i didn't even think cris was capable of turning on a computer, let alone sending an e-mail. anyone wants to read them, and tell me what they think, let me know and i will forward them.

frustration from school is fading. i have gotten the supplies i had been needing, and am starting to get things together so i can start cranking out my projects. this has me feeling better about things in general.
