so the halloween festivities have concluded this weekend. it was an entire weekend this year, because halloween was in the middle of the week. i only got dressed up on thursday; it's too damn cold to do more than once. i was white trash. i had these fucked up teeth, this nasty wig, a shitty hat (the foam kind with the mesh backs), a dirty white t-shirt in which i wrote wine 'em, dine 'em, 69 'em on, and i tucked my jeans into my large winter boots. rachel went as my battered wife. she had on a stone washed guess jeans skirt, a black halter top, a blonde wig that messy, we put her arm in a sling, gave her a black eye, and smeared her lipstick across her face. we were quite the attractive couple. it was fun when people would ask her jokingly what happened and i would remind her that she "fell down the stairs" as i shake my fist at her. i spent too much time in the bars to actually see a lot of the costumes this year, but what i saw wasn't as impressive as years past. what was good was someone was dressed up as that obnoxious guy who writes the free money books. you know, "buy my book, get free money to go to school". he wears the suit with all of the question marks on it. and i saw a guy dressed up as god's gift to women. he was present. his outfit was a box that was wrapped, and he had his arms and head sticking out, and a big tag that read to: women from: god. i thought that was nice. there was a lot of priests and a lot of royal tennebaums characters. mostly the baumer. my friend troy had a party last weekend and one of his friends was patrick bateman from american psycho. it was good especially because he had the business cards made up exactly like the ones in the movie. plus he handed out cd's he burned of 80's music.
the one bad thing is apparently that there was some rioting going on after bar time. around three or four in the morning i guess people started smashing all of the store front windows on state street. pretty fucked up, and i'm glad i missed it.
