i figured i should write, because it has been almost a month. but again, nothing happens. i am really starting to make a final push with my mfa show. 5 weeks. a lot of work to do. pretty much that's it.

i saw adaptation and old skool. both were good, but as you can guess for very different reasons. adaptation was brilliant. script, acting, characters. incredible. old skool was just hilarious. the script was your run of the mill cookie cutter about boys/men in college. however vince vaughn, owen wilson, and will farrell were really good together. they pretty much made the movie. also, the band behemoth is awesome. polish death metal. i recommend purchasing their latest effort zos kia cultus (here and beyond). so good.

i just got back from uw-marshfield where i was a visiting artist and i gave a lecture. lenore also gave a lecture. if you are wondering where marshfield is, find nowhere and then go directly to the center of it. you think i am kidding, but really i'm not. the school is a building amongst a lot of farms.

kris is coming to visit this weekend. this is cool. i think he is having a rough time in grad school being in the middle of nowhere. it'll be fun to spend a couple of days with him. also wisconsin are the regular season champs in the big 10. on wisconsin! big 10 tourney starts friday morning at 11:00 am. i'll be at a bar drinkin'. will you?
