not much going on here. been making art, taking advantage of the studio while i still have one. sleeping in. reading. i read survivor by chuck palahniuk. it was good. not great, but a good book. reading the amazing adventures of cavalier and clay now. it too is good, but requires more… attention? maybe that's the word i'm looking for. oh tripp… you stopped reading batman at #606? for shame.

excellect cd's of late. the datsuns (mike mckenney, i think of you when i listen to this band. i think you would love it). electric six - fire. saw electric six a week or so ago. garage rock mixed with disco. bizarre, ironic lyrics. songs like dance commander, naked pictures (of your mother), and i'm the bomb. if they come where you are go see them. it would be cheap and well worth your time. the blinding light - glass bullet. just bought this ep today. SO good. normally i wouldn't my time on a 14 min. disc, but i couldn't help it. besides their full length will be out in a month, and none of these tracks will be on it (i think). go here, http://www.deathwishinc.com/, and select RADIO, and the album to listen to it. also, the last two dying fetus albums. yeah, they sound exactly like what you're thinking, and i know no one that reads this will even attempt to listen to it, but rest assured they get plenty of spins in my rotation.

new addiction: dr. who pinball. that's right, DR. WHO PINBALL!! there's an arcade here that has early eighties and early nineties video games for a quarter, plus some good pinball machines. no MK2 though. they have a tron machine from like 1981, pac-man, donkey kong, double dragon, asteroids, etc. you get the point. pinball however is 50 cents, but they're quality machines. black knight, tales from the crypt, and of course dr. who to name a few. i found this to give a good idea of what i am talking about.
