tripp just called. he has a kidney stone now. kidney stones, as they relate to his problems, are usually a sign of crohn's disease. except a DNA test showed that tripp has colitis, not crohn's. so now the doctors are scratching their heads and postponing surgery until they can figure out what is causing the stones if not crohn's. the bad news is that crohn's has no cure, whereas colitis' cure is to remove the colon. so the news about the kidney stone aint so good. and he's back on morphine.
