well i cant believe it has been so long since i last posted. so much has happened. class is great. today we took a tour of printing through the ages at the rare book room within the yale center for british art. we saw wood cuts, copper engraving, mezzotints, aquatints, steel engraving, lithograph… and many more obscure things for which i cannot remember the names. but it was basically everything from the 1400s to the present.

things are just super hectic. i took the weekend to chill a bit. couldnt handle being in the studio all day everyday. saturday i went shopping and bought things that i am going to return. i bought a skirt and a pair of boots, neither of which i need but both which made me feel better. that night i went to a dinner party with all the design kids at the director’s house. it was great. i ate, and ate, and ate. and drank red wine all night. it was just what i needed. sunday i spent the day reading, thinking about my projects, talking on the phone, napping, and reading more. i got a lot of work done even though it doesnt really sound that way. and i got a little cleaning/putting things away done as well.

i dont know what to say. things are going well here, im just having to switch into a mode of thinking that feels so far-removed from me now. it’s proving a little difficult.

i need to get to work now, though. tootles….
