my friend elisa had her first child yesterday. the little one’s name is emma josephine and will go by emma jo, which i think is precious. momma got through an induced labor just fine and everyone was at the hospital to wish she and her husband well. i am SO excited for them. like, beyond thrilled. elisa is one of my most dear friends and i have known her since i was tiny and i am just so so excited that i will get to be a part of this child’s life. i wasnt expecting to be so excited, but being away from richmond is frustrating right now. i want to just stop by the hospital on my way home from school and i cant do that. too many hours away and too much work to do here. but i am so happy. and i’ll see the new happy family soon enough.
