thunder and lightning

im supposed to be doing work and ive spent all day avoiding it. i am craving a book idea. i have some sketches due tuesday for a project and i dont yet know what im going to make.

tomorrow is super bowl. everyone here is gathering at gaby's place (which is this newly converted mall with suburban-looking balconies where the old mall atrium was… it's a great apartment building, but the balconies are the weirdest thing ive ever seen in the middle of a city… it's like youve stepped into northern virginia when you go to her balcony). we're watching the game on projection. im hoping for lots of food and beer.

otherwise, im a little quiet for the moment. this weekend has been a little too eventful. i need a day off.
