You've got to love it when a company takes your suggestions. A while back Tripp and I wrote netflix to ask them to ask them to share rental queue's with other members. Well, they're not sharing rental information, but I think they did our idea one better and allowed us to set up our own profiles with personalized favorite lists and reviews. So check out my profile.
I'm seriously in love with their service. In the last two months I've seen more good movies than I had in the prior 2 years. I'm drowning myself in French New Wave (Breathless, The 400 Blows, Band of Outsiders, Jules and Jim, Shoot the Piano Player), Hitchcock (Vertigo, Rebecca, Notorious, To Catch a Thief), Kurosawa (Yojimbo, Sanjuro, Throne of Blood), film noir, (Naked City, The Killing, Rififi), and other assorted goodness (Requiem for a Dream, The Last Picture Show, Rushmore, Cinema Paradiso, Ali: Fear Eats the Soul, Lost in La Mancha).
All of the above are good to one degree or another, but titles in bold are highly reccomended. But check out my profile for reccomendations by theme.
