Panama

I regret to inform my constituents that I have to concede my previously held position vis a vis Snapple's "Real Fact" #147. It appears that the good people at the Snapple corporation were correct, an observer standing in the middle region of Panama could in fact witness the sun rise over the Pacific and set on the Atlantic. I was under the mistaken impression that Panama was a country that primarily ran North South when in fact it runs primarily East-West and curves quite a bit so that it resembles an "S" laying on it's side. This curvature was my undoing.

Despite this setback I don't want any of you to be dispirited, because after Panama we're going to Nicaragua, and we're going to Costa Rica, and we're going to Venezuela, and WE'RE GOING TO HONDURAS, AND WE'RE GOING TO EL SALVADORE, AND WE'RE GOING TO GUATAMALA, AND WE'RE GOING TO BELIZE!!!!!!
