These are the breaks

Yeah, it's been awhile again, but trust me you didn't really want to hear much from me over the last month. For awhile it seemed like everything I touched broke and I couldn't turn around without getting a parking ticket, having a crap day at work, or forgetting to pay a bill or some shit. Knock on wood, the bad spell seems to be over. The casualties? One dropped iPod (since fixed at a cost of $190), one dropped cellphone (since replaced for $60 and a new two year Verizon contract), a car stereo installed in the most royally fucked up and unprofessional manner imaginable by the douchehbags at Parkway Car Stereo ($350 for a job that I should have done myself for about $250 and ended up redoing myself in any event), one pair of subsequently blown car stereo speakers (replaced with some mint Rockford Fosgate component speakers for another $200), one cracked iPod car car mount (repaired with a liberal dose of The Amazing Goop), an inexplicably broken air conditioning vent on the drivers side door of my car (also soon to be repaired with the Amazing Goop), worn out car brakes (replaced at a cool $250), a space age oil change (don't ask but it set me back another $250), and a color printer which mysteriously decided to call it quits (still broken). So much for reigning in my spending before moving out on my own.

So you really didn't want to hear from me anyway, unless you happen to be fond of strings of non-stop expletives. Through it all Tripp has been remarkably prescient about not bugging me to post, maybe he knew I was about ready to explode or maybe he's just wrapped up in his own life.

Anyway, I meant to bitch in a merely perfunctory manner before posting my list of top bumping tunes for the summer, but since this seems to have turned into a more exended bitch session, I think I'll put it off until tomorrow just so I can start over with a clean slate. Summer music is about kicking back and enjoying good vibes, no venom needed. So good vibes tomorrow, tune in…
