I think I'm allergic to the prospect of New Jersey. No the actual state mind you. The prospect.

The first instance occurred last year during Laura and Rob's wedding. Perfectly nice affair, but I had a nasty headcold when I showed up. I sucked it up, partied hard, and woke up the next morning with no voice. It was worth the sacrifice, but I did pay the price. The drive home wasa not easy.

Now, a year later, I'm headed to Atlantic City for the weekend for Tim's Bachelor Party fighting yet another cold. It deserves to be said that I am pysched to go. I've been friends with Tim since the the ninth grade and we don't rock out nearly as much as we use to/should. So it's not the people involved that are making me ill.

Nor is it the physical place. I've driven through Jersey over a dozen times in the interem without a problem. It's just the idea of stopping there that makes me sick for some reason.
