Musicians. Anyway, moving along, I recieved some very distressing news about a married couple who both work at the restaraunt. It seems that they have been having problems at home and it's really putting stress on their marriage, and it's not really helping them out at work either. I remember just the other day when the wife was in my office complaining about how her husband's parents were trying to tear them apart by trying to convince him that she was having an affair. It even went so far as his parents kicking her out. It is all a really tough situation, made even worse by the fact that they have a child together. I was really upset by this turn of events, but I must admit less so when I found out that the probable reason that his parents were trying to convince him that she cheated on him was that she did cheat on him. With someone who works with both of them. Ouch. That has to be one of the all-time worst moves in marital relations history. I just feel bad for the guy, and feel like I should tell him. I wouldn't know what to say, but if it was me, I would want to know. It must be really hard on both of them, although I don't really have any sympathy for her.
Q:
Which is worse, having to look your husband in the eye every day and lie and pretend nothing happened in front of people who know the truth, or being the husband who's in the dark?

What could possibly happen next? Well it turns out that the person who plays music for us a couple of night a week has a restraining order against him by his ex-girlfreind. I only found this out because he didn't show up one night and I came to find out later that he was in jail for violating said order. I get along with this guy pretty well and I hate it when when he makes stupid decisions, but it seems like he has me hating an awful lot recently. Musicians.

This makes me have to wonder if the rumor is true. In other news, it seems someone is trying to prove the whole alchohol causes invincibilty theory. A server of ours, who was almost certainly drunk, (he denies it, and I didn't realize I could have gotten the hospital to test until it was too late) slipped and fell in the kitchen, hitting his head on the side of one of our stoves. The funny thing is he didn't even feel it until he reached around his head to feel where he hit himself and came back with a handfull of blood. He obviously got sent straight to the emergency room* where he promptly recieved 14 staples on the back of his head. (He did feel those). Proof that the wicked do sometimes get punished, they actually gave him 16 staples and then decided it was too many and took two out. That hurts. He is a recovering alcholic that has tried everything to quit except to stop drinking. My patience is wearing extremely thin. I suddenly find myself how many people are going to come close to dying this week? (Apparently the doctors said that they could tap on his skull, which was quite amusing to them, less so to the patient. What could possibly happen next?
*Ever since a certain critically acclaimed television program, it has struck me for some reason as overly cliched to abbreviate those two words by their initials. Yes more completely useless information. That is why you come here, right?
P.S. If you aren't following this, read these first in order:
