I hope I never have to see that again. I was just beginning to think that I was going to get through one night with everything being normal, when I caught someone sneaking liquor into a to-go cup while they were working. I just saw it out of the corner of my eye, hardly conclusive evidence, so I decided to test them. I went up a little later and in the middle of small talk stopped and said: "what's in the cup?", which completely threw her off. After a few seconds of stammering, she got out that it was just coke. The next chance she got, she took her drink to the back, walked past five trash cans, and dumped her drink in the back of the dumpster. I was a few feet behind her at the time and remarked that it was an awful long way to go just to throw out a coke. I felt like I should be careful in this situation because I had heard some disturbing information about her recently. Stories had been getting around about her being addicted to heroin and stealing money. I wasn't sure about that, but I did know that she needed help of some kind and this could become a dangerous situation. I let her know that anyone caught stealing alchohol would obviously lose their job and she got very defensive. I just left it at that since I didn't actually see her do it and losing her job could be very destructive for her at this time. The way she acted though, this really makes me wonder if the rumors are true.
