Life happens. Roll with the punches and whatever other applicable cliches what have you. It’s been a while since I’ve posting something here. Couple reasons: One: I’ve been busy doing stuff: job, social life, buying a home, etc. Two: sort of uncomfortable putting too many details about my personal life online. I feel I share to much offline as it is. Three: I’ve been writing elsewhere about things that don’t necessarily fit the profile of this website.

After a long time threatening to do it, my best friend and I started a “blog” basically to house our writing. It’s currently mainly involved with music criticism (we only launched it last week), but in the future we plan on all sorts of different topics from dating advice from an insane idiot (ie my buddy Jesse) and a continuing series on the best places to get drunk in the Bay Area. Basically, it’s an excuse to force ourselves to have fun, but more importantly, it’s an excuse to be creative and write, which I need to do more of. And as for MOG, I have a few ideas of some posting here that will allow me to remain a part of the community without going to deep into my life, so look for more posting soon.
