Sometimes it's easy to isolate myself. I don't have to block out anything because I just avoid the more disturbing sources. This has even risen to the level of an inside joke: Roxy and I clinked glasses at dinner last night in an ironic toast to our misanthropy. But then something will slip through the filter and shatter me to my very core… in this case, a youtube video of a young man performing a song from Parappa the Rapper for a contest:
