We're skipping Xmas this year

Matt still hasn't been able to write because he's been so busy at work but he should be a hitting a port (he'll let us know when he gets there) sometime soon. Maybe he'll be lucky enough to be on land for New Year's.

Anyway, thank you to all of you who have offered to get him phone cards. He/we can really use them. However, we're not sure they'll work on the boat so he'll be using them in Iraq. Those links I posted earlier will work for buying AT&T Global cards (the military exchange is a good rate). The Ship to Shore cards are supposed to work on both the ship and on land but we're not sure they will. They are probably the best bet for the ship and land. He has a little less than a month left on the boat until he'll be on land.

I hope you all had a wonderful Xmas and we hope to celebrate next year's Xmas with you. This year we're skipping it.
