Hmm. Homeless tracking. That sounds like pure Ashcroft. I bet his storm troopers are marching through the alleyways and rounding beggars up with butterfly nets and selling the poor bastards to zoos and circuses.

And it's laughable that the page is titled "Homeless Assistance." Certainly such surveilance couldn't possibly be used to improve the resources to help the homeless. No, it must definitely be used to keep a "dependent population at an intolerable level of poverty." Apparently by preventing Welfare fraud. Welfare fraud being the great boon to the homeless population since the tinfoil hat.

And of course, "Secret Service and national security agents can gain access to the database by just asking for it!" Or by going online! God no! It could even fall into the hands of homeless shelters!

What's worse, this data could be used to combat outbreaks of diseases such as tuberculosis among the homeless!
