We were all shocked, though not necessarily surprised, by Jerry Falwell's insensitive remarks on the 700 Club in the days following 9/11 in which he blamed feminists, homosexuals, and god for the terrorist attacks. Many of us wondered, "How did they let that go on the air?" Recently released outtakes from the taping provide an answer: It was the best take they could get. listen.
