the egocentric petunia would like it noted that she has taken about 2/3 of the photos you will see popping up on
this site. also, she finds it occasionally alarming and/or starling to see tripp&petunia as a couple pictures pop up. it's a bit
jarringly anachronistic, really. oh well.

PS - happy birthday andru!!

i will stop talking about myself in 3rd person now, thankfully.

you know
what? i have myself in an amazing bind. one of my biggest pet peeves -we're talking top 10 at least, maybe even top 5- is people telling me about their dreams. i have a
theory that NO NONE CARES ABOUT YOUR DREAMS EXCEPT YOU. it is cathartic and theraputic to tell someone else about a dream, esp. when in talking details work themselves
out somehow. *however*, i feel reasonably safe offering a 3-to-1 guarantee that somewhere in the course of your animated retelling of your noncturnal hallucinations, the
person you are talking to has spaced out. big time. and i also can give you good odds that if your dream is recounting is especially lonmg and full of tedious detail, they have
consciously thought that they hope you will soon be finished. can i get an amen on this? i have little issue with something like tripp's britney spears blurb on his page recently.
it's short, succint, and somewhat amusing. but if you have a dream and have the urge to recall its every last detail to someone, i beg you to think again. for the sake of humanity, think
before you share. chances are that the whole thing is a lot more interesting to you than it will be to anyone else, and chances are that they will be too polite to admit this to you.
i'm just trying to do humanity a little favor here. make a little difference in the world.

go see 'moulin rogue'. if nothing else, it is visually amazing. two dizzy, bleary-eyed thumbs-up.

i am
newly enamored with one of my supervisors at the track. he is over 40, has a shaved head, and wears sunglasses indoors. love is indeed blind.
