i have received a flurry of emails in regard to my streetlight confusion. most are very scientific, but i like ray’s the best:
As you are probably aware, streetlights are automated with a
photosensitive cell that tells them when it is dark or light outside. It
seems that some people, such as yourself apparently, have an inner glow
which fools the sensor, thus streetlights turn off when you approach as
they would with the dawning of the sun.

yay! i like feeling like a glow worm.

in the past 2 days i have been gifted 10 of the (pink) hello kitty happy meal toys. i am not trying to look gift horses in the mouth, but i am really holding out for the red ones.

with 10 days left to go, cheri has backed out of the breast cancer walk. i am mad more than i am disappointed. she claims that it’s because her knee is too messed up to take it, BUT she teaches aerobics classes every day … ? i don’t like thinking badly of my friends, but i really think she just got scared that she had only raised $185 so far and knew that if she didn’t get the rest, she’d be responsible for it. i’m frustrated.

i babysat for my landlords’ kids on monday night and mentioned my b-day party this weekend. they were excited and contributed 100 little cups for jell-o shooters.
