yesterday's nyc excursion was going to the met for a day. i'm a weird museum-goer. i enjoy meeting friends to go, but then doing the actually museum-ing, i like to do my own thing, wandering around and snapping my flash-less photos. it probably seems a little anti-social, but neither jill nor her friend bill seemed to mind as i went about my merry way solo. some of my favorites:
