'please entertain me. i am begging you'

i am at work and INCREDIBLY bored. not one kid so far – thank you, MTA! although attendance rates were up yesterday, but if my school is any indication, they are waaaay down again today.

i'm not quite as prone as i once was to indulge in email survey and quiz thingees and i'm behind the curve on the questionnaire below. kind of like the kid who discovers a good band when all his indie friends are all, "i was listening to them way before they got popular. they sold out" etc, etc.

1. westmore elementary school

4. brio train school – for when i worked at school crossing in w'burg. "school" was actually only like a one hour presentation by a brio rep telling about their product but i won the competition afterward and got a t-shirt that proclaimed me a graduate of the train school and a "toy expert". sweet.

1. "ladies and gentleman!" – usually shouted, in fruitless attempts to get my students to 1) shut up 2) listen to me 3) act less ghetto
2. "thank you." – i tend to thank unnecessarily, constantly, and excessively.
3. "freakshow."
4. "i think i love him." - this is inevitably a mistake, of course.
