'at least it will be your choice'

somewhere along the line i completely dicked myself over bragging about the school hours i keep, how i get home so early, get my grading done while i am at work, etc. this is so not the case this term. the three new preps have me working on lessons every evening, and thus the grading piles up, stretching the seams of my purple accordion file. our marking period ended yesterday, grades are due friday, and i have read so many g-d papers today that i feel as if my eyeballs might fall out right onto my grade spreadhseet. i miss relaxing and reading and losing myself in "lost." but hopefully after friday i can rediscover R&R.
i want to plan an entire week of movies for my classes next week when this crunch is over (although if i'd been smarter i would have done it this week). it's a lot easier to show movies here than it was at my old school, but i do need to be able to explain some sort of relevance to subject if questioned. i think i'm going to get "rent" for my drama class, though i could really use any film of a play, really. i've been working on ideas for journalism, and have come up with "citizen kane", "la confidental", and "the insider", though my top choice would be "almost famous" since it's one of my favorite movies. i think it's a little bit more a of a stretch though. but my biggest challenge lies in the question - what movie could i find that would possibly tie into a library research class?
ideas? anyone? beuller? beuller?
i am completely the sucker/consumer that marketers research when they learn about impulse buyers. today while waiting in line at the drugstore, i spied and ended up purchasing a can of tab's new energy drink. yes, tab! (immediate flashbacks to the old williamsburg theater, the concession stand ad/cartoon, and the littlest penguin chirping, "i'll have a tab!") tab energy drink is pink and "created for women with a sense of style and purpose." the can is currently chilling in my fridge, preparing to provide tomorrow morning's boost so that i can function with efficiency at 7.25am. tomorrow, i will be tab-powered!
