tonight gabriel and i are feigning pretension and going to the IFC theater in manhattan to see douches froides. it's part of a french film festival. i am looking forward to it but can not help but think that if you film any film in french, or give it a french name, it makes it much artsier than anything american.
to balance this refined choice of entertainment, i am currently watching WWE saturday night main event on NBC as i get ready to go. rather than consider myself culturally bipolar, i'd prefer instead to think of myself as a renaissance woman.
