'just couldn't catch up with his dreams'

it is strange sometimes to try something you are nearly positive you would not like, only to find out that you really actually dig it. i feel this way about raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
i have stumbled upon the tv show pants off dance off on fuse, and am extremely fascinated by it in a can't-take-your-eyes-off-the-car-crash fashion. the premise of the program is everyday joes and janes taking off their clothes while dancing in front of a blue screen projecting the music video of their choice. viewers vote on the best dancer, who wins some cash. so far the three somewhat quirky contestants have let loose to the killers, destiny's child, and 50 cent.
it's got me thinking about what song i am devoted to enough to disrobe and shake it front of a tv audience. hm. perhaps strangely, i'm thinking maybe something by the beastie boys. hole? underworld? nin? ("closer" would of course be too obvious.) my hip-hop favorites are usually so of-the-moment that i'm not sure that would fit right, either. oh, and i mean of-the-moment in the fleeting sense, rather than a music snob way. so yeah - what ditty could move me to … move in this arena? i wonder.
these are the things i waste my time musing about, yes.
i noticed no one seems to be singing the words as they dance on this program. so i might be DQed before i even rhetorically started, as this is one of my most annoying / persistant habits. although i maintain that singing or mouthing the words is actually a less annoying dance-related irritant than people -girls, i think mostly - who make a snotty weird face / open their mouths / engage in odd animated facial expressions when they dance. i may have to search for a picture to clearly illustrate this premise.
