these pictures are long overdue.
many months ago on the train with sara, we idly chattered about various subway ads like dr zizmor and his sad sideways-comma-shaped eyes.
as our own eyes wandered around the subway car, they landed on these ads by the transit authority:
on first glance, no biggie. some cartoons of things you might lose on the subway, whatever. but then, if you take a closer look…
… a boomerang? dentures? a wooden leg? a live cobra?! in the words of the great "stand-up and win" SNL skit circa-early 90s - who are the ad wizards that came up with this one?
