the roof of my mouth is raw as fuck. sometimes, particularly when i have alcohol-related munchies, i seem to possess an inability to wait patiently for the minute or two it takes for something like a slice of pizza to cool before shoveling it into my mouth. ow.

there are strange things that i like. i would like to keep a running list of them. maybe i will keep coming back to this post to update it. so… odd little things i like:

the soft birthmark kind of spot on homemade pancakes
the type of really thin paper used primarily in bibles, and the crinkle it makes when handled
cement mixers
old locks and keys
the little pink spot on my dog's chin
kelly clarkson
elephants holding trunks and tails
clipping coupons from the sunday paper and keeping them categorized in a small pink plastic accordion file
marching in warm rain in my pink rubber boots, with a stomp here and there

this list definitely isn't very thorough yet, or comprehensive enough to provide an accurate snapshot of quirkiness. i'll keep working on it.
