'tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty'

nelly furtado's song "promiscuous" tops my ever-expanding list of guilty pleasured right now. it's got a teeny bit of street cred for featuring timbaland, but really. nelly furtado. and pretty silly lyrics, to boot. but the song is sweet. i'm already thinking summer soundtrack. only 18 days left before school's out.

i will be spending the next seven hours taking the last 2 crappy teacher standardized tests needed to complete my new york state teaching license. not my ideal way to spend my saturday morning, esp. as i have a really hard time dedicating a whole lot of thought to reading questions and filling in little bubbles with a #2 pencil.

however, my apartment is well-stocked with coffee, juice boxes of wine, and various types of cheese, which can mean just one thing - michelle will be visiting! just the right prescription for some much-needed fun. :)
