the 29th birthday has come and gone. am i officially old yet? or is that thirty? i've been thinking about that episode of "friends" in which it's rachael's 30th birthday and she has this kind of meltdown realizing that her mental timeline for her lifeplan is fucked.
i don't actually feel that way myself. i just keep thinking about it.
one of my 5th graders asked me the other day what i wanted to be when i grew up. i bit my lip and considered his question. after a bit of thought i told him i wasn't sure yet.
