this time tomorrow i will be in fredericksburg with michelle for a girlie weekend. let the fun begin.

it's nice that i am even looking forward to the two hour drive from harrisonburg to fredericksburg (seems like there should be a G-burg of some sort between the two to be alphabetical about it).  i figure i'll catch don and mike part of the way, and i just got lily allen's album from iTunes and am ready to immerse myself in it.  here's hoping my iPod fm transmitter behaves itself and i don't have to keep fucking around with changing frequencies.  that's an inappropriate amount of behind-the-wheel multi-tasking, y'know?

the weirdness of the news of anna nicole smith's death today is still floating around in my head.  everything that has happened in her life, particularly the past few months, just seems so bizarre.  i feel badly for that poor little baby, who tragically/thanksfully, will remember nothing of this.   i can't really wrap my mind around it.

it also saddens me to see the bloomberg headline "Anna Nicole Smith, Model Who Sought Inheritance, Dies."  imagine your life being summed up in that way.  man.
