There, I said it: '24′ becoming 'Walker: Texas Ranger'

To be fair, I tuned out of '24′ sometime in the second season. I just couldn't do it anymore. This year, I've caught parts of two episodes–one where a bad guy is using a power drill to interogate someone, and then this week's ep where said baddie gets righteously thugged by Jack, after Jack has somehow, amazingly, hung from the underside of a trash truck for ten minutes using just his patriotic, never cut-and-run CTU terror-fightin' muscles.
Seriously, this show used to be decent. And now? It's pretty much Walker: Texas Ranger suped up with a budget. I keep waiting for a roundhouse kick, since Sutherland's acting now seems about as wooden as Norris'.

i watched the first season and, i think, the fourth. i'm not sure why. i know mike watch s1 with me and kurt s4.
and at no time, except maybe the first episode, did i ever feel like i wasn't watching some lame tv show. i mean, the wife in s1 gewt amnesia — for 2 hours.
to be generous, i thought of it as some new version of movie serials — lame cliffhangers done to simply carry you to the next episode, physics and logic be damned.
of course, i would watch 24 in a heartbeat if they replaced keifer with chuck. hm, i wonder if there are walker dvds out. that show is awesome when bored. and drunk. very drunk.
