Reedisms: Growing up

Reed is in the midst of a growth spurt of some sort. He's put on several inches in height this year, a full inch in the last month alone. Tonight as I'm readying him for bed I rhetorically lament, "Reed, how are you growing up soooo fast?"
His answer?
"Protein."
