oceans tide you home

this morning was weird. i woke up and thought about reading but had the urge to turn on the tv and look at the news because if something like a terrorist attack had happened i wanted to know about it. ugh. its weird but i had the sense today that our country is in wartime. yes, we've been at war, but i hadn't had that sense before about this war. i think its because it seems so…one way. not that our armies aren't out there risking their lives, but none of it is really on our land or our allies land.

unless the hurricanes ruin my plans i should be heading off to lily's wedding in florida tomorrow. humidity, here i come.
