quiet murmer

my dad is going to be here tomorrow! he's coming for the weekend and then we're flying back to portland together. when i bought my ticket there just happened to be a free seat right across the isle from dad. yay.

i'm not quite sure what my plans are from now til —-. i think i'll just try and get some projects around the house done while i'm in portland, make goals like that rather than spend time looking for work. if i can accomplish some things that would be helpful for the family that would be worth more than whatever i could earn assuming i could find a job that would take someone who isn't planning on being there for very long.

its very weird planning for an unknown length of time. i could be in portland for just a week or two, or it could be a couple months. its probably good for me to deal with the unknown. i've never been very good at it, i like to know whats happening when and this summer has forced me to take a more mellow approach. ah, patience.
