i may finally have gotten onto a normal schedule.

my mom came in this morning and said 'grammy fell, and she's going to the hospital'. i was up out of that bed like a shot. we went to hospital number one, beating the ambulence by many minutes. then they ushered my mom into the ER and told me to stay so i sat and twiddled my thumbs for an hour, then my mom came back and got me. from that point on i was at the bedside except for grabbing food and during the trip when they transfered her to hospital 2 where her doctor wanted her to be.

gram's tests are looking fine so far and the fall didn't do too much damage– the big concern is why she fell. she's been having dizzyness, etc. its possible its a reaction to medication in which case things should improve as it works its way out of her body.

for right now, they're observing her and i'm going back early in the morning.

tripp's whole hospital stint led me to learn appropriate hospital behavior. it works well if you don't get too stressed and expect things to move at a snails pace.
