we're all doing what we can

life is exciting at the moment. well, not at this precise moment- i'm at work and avoiding searching through piles of papers for some documents- but, in general, its exciting.

i'm going to be sad to leave l.a. friends and family, but beyond that, i'm looking forward to moving to mountain view. i had some initial trepidation about giving up the stability that i currently have, with a known apartment, a job, a routine, but i've moved beyond that.

i felt really badly giving notice after working here such a short time. while i know i'd be an asset to most places since i learn quickly and work hard, i still feel indebted to those who are willing to give someone with so little work experience and few marketable skills a shot.

there seems to be a lot to do before we move. i started a list this morning and it took away some of my anxiety. all of those things that were floating around my mind are now tagged down and can be checked off.

i'm sure there will be challenges ahead, but i'm happy and content for the time being.
