roof thumping

yesterday we were driving back from palo alto whole foods and it started raining. the sun was out too, and out the window there was a gorgeous rainbow- the entire arc was visible. tripp commented that it looked like one of the stickers, it was so vivid. we kept driving and then the single rainbow turned into a double rainbow. eventually they faded away, but by the time we pulled into the apartment complex there was another one brightening the sky.
